Jews were 2.7X more likely than blacks, 2.2X more likely than Muslims to be hate crime victim

And if we could narrow it down to attacks against the visibly Jewish US population, the rate would likely be 5-10x higher.

Is this about unprovoked attacks or about percentage dead?
Is this about stopping criminal behavior that hurts people - whether the perpetrator is the same ethic group as his victim or not? Or is it about being more righteous about being wronged?

Not all hate leads to death nor are all deaths caused by hate. I have no idea how many Jews or blacks were killed today because of hate. But I know many Jews have been attacked and/or killed this year due to hate.

My point with the word "arguably" is to avoid discussion of whether or not it was really for this or that reason.

In my bubble, there are far more Jews getting killed for being Jewish than blacks killed for being black. And the Jewish cases I know about are far more common to be premeditated murder compared to many black cases which were due to on the spot escalations (not blaming the victims, but saying the murderers are driven by more hate if it’s premeditated.)

This is based on what I observed, but I can let the numbers speak for themselves.

As religious Jews we should learn and think about black history but we don’t have to use our imagination. This is our reality. We have been murdered forever and it’s currently far more dangerous to be a religious Jew in the US than it is to be black, and it’s not close.

The argument is stupid and pointless anyhow, but you're framing it as dangerous for black people vs dangerous for Jews, and he is speaking about dangerous for Jews and blacks *because of identity*, not socio-economic or police brutality, etc.

It is more dangerous to be Black than Jewish in this country. That statement has nothing to do with racism or hate crimes. Being Jewish makes it more likely to be the victim of a hate crime than being Black does. Those are 2 different facts.
