Can Someone clarify for me... I live in apartment where they have a phone jack but I have no phone service currently (former residents did.)  Would that be enough for this device to work with Google voice and broadband internet or would I also need some connection with phone company?  Thanx

If you have google voice and a broadband internet connection....you'll be good to go.  I use it in my daughter's room to give her a phone line so that she no longer ties up ours.  Have a cordless phone plugged into the Obi device.
