How to get the cash out from amex gift cards?

I have over $500 worth of American Express gift cards. I need the cash as I am making a simcha. I cant figure out a way how to get the cash from these gift cards...I cant fund my venmo, I cant send to zelle. ANy ideas? much appreciated..thank you

Go to the grocery wait to see someone paying in cash offer them $5 for using your card and get their cash

Offer the vendors to give them the actual gift card, not to swipe it on their terminals.

Neither as good as cash, but depending on your usage can replace what you'd otherwise spend cash on.
