Getting the UN220/LG Exalt GSM Branded Phone to work with At&t or T-Mobile?

 So many conflicting reports, I heard from a few that it doesn't work, then here on the forum I'm hearing that it does work?

 

Does anyone know the code for the engineering menu on the Lg exalt VN220? I want to enable the bands for Tmobile.

I have managed to get it on the wine UN220 but seems to be disabled in the verizon version.

Would it work to pull an apk from the UN220 and pus to VN?

So it seems you got it to work on TMobile?

Many use it on Hot and Golan but you will not have 4g as they all use Band 3 - not supported by this phone or the UN220 so they would be the same in israel.
That said, they are prob better than any other israeli meushar phone, and VoLTE is not widespread בהארץ.

So with a 3G network you seem to say it would work?

Has anyone tried the Un220 on the At&t network? I just bought one a few days ago, I havent recieved it yet. Anyone have any experience?

 I'm curious is it working on a 4G network or is it switching over to a 2G network?
 And you positive it's a T-Mobile network not an AT&t network?

 What I really got to do is try an At&t SIM card and see for myself if it works.

What carrier is the UN220 good for. It seems to be just about the only good GSM 4G phone, yet everyone is seeming to say it’s not good with a lot of the GSM carriers. Is there something I’m missing?

Honestly have no clue, when i got mine it was brand new and got LTE right away. My brother got a very good used one and he only gets 3g also but doesn’t mind since he doesn’t have access to internet and hasn’t affected his service

Just got my UN220 last night.
The phone functions great. Its a very good phone, the performance is pretty good in my opinion. Just trying to figure out why i'm only getting 3g service I have Good2go mobile on At&t network

You probably need to adjust the APN settings to your carrier.

Thank you. I just followed the steps in the link you posted and now i have 4g.

By me I have 4G, just when you make the call it goes to 2G.
T-Mobile on the exalt and or the lg classic flip/wine2.

No, though the text and data works on 4g and the calling on 2g.
