Do people really carry their wallet in their back pocket?

Daily basis? Not all of them, but every time I take cards out I wind up not having them when I need them and kicking myself.

Do people normally not carry their wallets in their back pockets? Did I miss out on the revolution?

How do YOU carry your 25+ cards?

Do you actually use them and need to swipe them? i.e. B&M stores?

If not, I just keep all of mine in KeePass on my phone and can use whichever I want.

i think its very annoying to put wallet in back pocket, i dont understand ppl that do (especially if they've got bunch of cards)

and same here with the few CC's/Debit i have, if i dont take them all then i dont have it when i need it. -
Dan, does it ever happen to u in a store that a card gets "lost" between the others and u just take out the pile on the counter and start shifting through them - while all eyes on u?

Granted, 'need' differs from person to person, but still... 25 cards is a bit excessive/obsessive...

If you carry the right card you will only need one.

Always have my wallet and cell phone in my front pants pockets. Mind you if I'm sitting at my desk at home that I'll take them out, but if I'm out of the house then I find it easier to carry everything, lest I not have what I want when I need it.

Most of those aren't major CCs, I didn't realize that.

Someone like you would majorly benefit from an e-wallet (once those become pervasive).

I rarely use the other credit cards I have.
Some cards are just for the benefits and not for spending, like lounge access on the AMEX Plat.

Starbucks Elite gives free flavors and soy milk.

Also, some cards, like my library + grocery cards, I keep the small version on my key chain.

But my SPG card says "CEO of DansDeals.com, please upgrade to best available suite

If I'm an additional guest on a res or on a priceline stay then having the elite card is invaluable as your elite info won't be in the res. Also good for checking in at kiosks.

Don't have a car key chain. My Altima has a fob with no keys that I find easier to keep in my pocket with nothing else on it.

Register a Starbucks GC online, make 5 transaction at Sbux, and you are automatically upgraded to an elite level that gives free flavors (normally $0.50) and soy (normally $0.60).

I think at some point they mail you a gold card that also earns free drinks with every 15 transactions.

Never purchase 2 items in the same transaction, always break it out.

some stores dont accept AMEX, and some stores dont accept Visa Credit. that makes u carry at least 3 cards

Valuable information, thanks! Do you think baristas (especially in NYC) might) get pissed if I order 2-3 coffees and ask them to run them through as separate transactions?

Can't remember one store in the past three years that did not take my 5/6% Visa card. I do carry a back up just in case but that is only 2.5%.
