Wyze devices on sale
« on: June 21, 2021, 12:12:54 PM »
Wyze outdoor base + 2 cameras for $74.98 (usually $105)
Wyze thermostat $55.30
Wyze lock with Echo dot $86.48 (I have 2 of these, they work off an included gateway which I have plugged in to a smart plug timer for Shabbos. I leave the open/close sensor disabled although I'm not 100% sure I have to!)

A few questions - does this log when the door is opened/closed/locked/unlocked?
Is the gateway 220 volt compatible?

I have the Wyze Lock. It works for my needs, but in terms of product support from Wyze, it's their abandoned stepchild.

I have my Wyze Cam set to turn off before Shabbos and turn back on after Shabbos through IFTTT. The Wyze Lock does not have IFTTT integration, and does not have an option to turn it off regardless, so I end up pulling out the batteries every Friday and putting it back in after Shabbos. I have to recalibrate it every time that is done.

Yuck. Pass.
Wyze Cam - you can set up a schedule in the app itself to turn it off for shabbos

The IFTTT integration is better. Works for all Chagim.

I tried pushing in the forums to get integration of IFTTT implemented. They did send me a survey afterwards for my single most important feature to be added to the Wyze Lock, so maybe they will still implement it. But very small chance at this point.
