What do you think?

Misleading, because that $ could've been saved on something else.
Not misleading, because it says "As Low As" and it could be useful to someone.

Perhaps make the options without the reasons.

Cmon.

A. Whoever is on DDF long used all of his offers (most times)
B. Whoever is on DDF knows how and when to use it. (most times)....  ;) >:( :P

Write the sale price first, then add "as low as.. with cc offer". Like on DDMS.

Great Idea! But there's a character limit in DDF titles (and Amazon has pretty long names for some products)

Just about everyone knows "as low as" or "starting from" implies conditions or limited promotions you may not qualify for, *especially* those on DDF

IMO it may not be misleading, but when the $off is 'global' and limited (such as the CC offer) I find it annoying, since
A. Whoever is on DDF long used all of his offers (most times)
B. Whoever is on DDF knows how and when to use it. (most times)....  ;) >:( :P
and I just mentally subtract it.

if the offer is more narrow (e.g. only available at certain merchants/items) then it makes more sense

I wrote (most times) for the people that can`t "just mentally subtract it".

I read the poll at face value, which is "is it misleading". That's a different question to "what is the best practice?"

To answer the OP, IMHO any discount that isn't directly related to the item being purchased is misleading, including CC offers.

ETA: Misunderstood the question. Thought it meant - "This item can be yours for $29.99 if you sign up for the Amazon Credit Card!" but rather refers to CC spending offers - spend X on Amazon and save $30.
