The frustration is shared and very understandable, but until real experts come out and say the people on-site aren't going as fast as they can, we have to trust that this is the way it has to be done. We live in a world with no shortage of experts who are happy to give their opinions from the sidelines. That they haven't been doing media tours with some backseat driving is telling, at least to me.

I agree with you that they probably are, however all of us have been around the block enough to know that it is possible that more could be done. I do not have blind faith in our goverment. My heart aches for the pain this is causing family members anf can't fathom what it must be like.

The answer depends on how close you are to those under the rubble... my family has been rotating tehillim around the clock because that's the only thing we can do, but it's torturous.

This is a very powerful point. You know the stories of folks who get adrenaline rushes to lift cars to get trapped loved ones out. Relatives of missing ones are questioning whether operation is being run with same sense of urgency. If you look at early pictures of the scene, all you saw was firefighters blocking traffic at the corners.

Hashem should give you the strength to cope with this indescribably painful situation.

Isn't this a bigger risk of debris collapsing in on them ?
