Same local rumors: 2 people rescued that were on the 8th floor and another 2 that were on the 11th floor. Imyh it's true and they rescue many more.

Seems like they are conducting the searches out of the basement parking garage, which is giving them better access to places in the rubble.

Miami-Dade Mayor Daniella Levine Cava says 102 people are now accounted for in the Surfside condo collapse. There are however still 99 people unaccounted for. The mayor has officially declared an emergency allowing FEMA aid to arrive.

FOX posted a picture they said was from The Shul with names of missing Jews. It looks like there are 34 names on it.

From our Rebetzin:

We just left the community center and want to share some information .
Many families of those unaccounted for remain in the center as they want to be on sight when news of their loved ones comes in.
It has been a grueling snd very painful day for the entire community and beyond as many have arrived from other states and countries to be with family and dear friends.
We continue to pray and to be there for one another.

We would appreciate volunteers to come to the  Shul tomorrow  morning to help with sorting the donations of bedding, clothing

The community center needs volunteers at 2:00 PM for sorting and delivery .

We thank this amazing community of volunteers for their love, care and assistance.

With prayerful wishes for a peaceful Shabbat.….
