If monthly spend is 250 on other expenses, and 2500 in rent, then it's net about 12000 points a year. Not bad, but not especially appealing

12kyear is a joke. The claim that it would improve account holder’s credit score by 50-100 points within a year is BS.

Looking at this card now.
True no sign up bonus, but benefits with no annual fee are impressive.
Most notably to me is the primary cdw (except nys residents).
ETA if you pay rent and aren't working on a SUB, this seems like a no-brainer to have in your wallet

For me the SUB was that I am making points on my rent for over a year now which isn't possible with any other NO FEE cc
