is anybody else bothered by the fact, that posts are being made on this blog on Shabbos!

I would call myself a liberal, but I think its a bit much when in its your face.

unless i am doing something wrong, i clicked on "Show unread posts since last visit" , and quite a few posts came up under "today". with many having Yiddishe sounding pen names.

maybe they are in Israel or another time zone, I hope so.

Yeah a lot are in Israel (where Jews are supposed to be). Then there's the guy who wanted to sign up to Blazer Media Group to get the BMG corp code

Im sure you have many people here, that are not shomer shabbos, maybe some of these posts are them. we shouldnt condone it though.

It cant all be posts made from people abroad.

everyone loves this site. as a matter of fact a came upon a site, that said this abov

A huge percentage of members here are from Israel and there are plenty of gentiles as well.

I really don't see what the issue here. We know there are Jews who don't aren't observant - why does it make a difference if they are here or not?
At least this way they have some connection to Yiddeshkeit

It's moot. I just went though every post made today until 6pm. Every single one of them was made from Israel, UK, or South Africa.
As I said, learning to be dan l'kaf zchus will take you far in life.

The guy I mentioned posted from America on SBS, but I have no indication he's a Jew.

I just spoof my IP address to an Israeli so I can browse DDF on Shabbos after cholent, that's the true oineg anyway

As Dan said, it's a moot point, and I would assume that it's people from israel...but IF they were posting on shabbos, then the issue would be that this site is helping them be mechalel shabbos.

Meh, if they didn't have DDF they'd go elsewhere. It's not like they helplessly break Shabbos just to get their DDF fix.

Perhaps, but I think there is the idea that even if someone may do an aveirah anyway, you shouldn't help them.

Does that mean that policy should be changed? Maybe not - all I'm saying is that there is a point there.

He wasn't talking about the people, but about the action. People have no right to decide not to be observant, & while they are usually tinok sheneshba, the actions are not worth of respect.
