Anybody has any easy way of removing fungus under fingernails and toenails?any tips solutions etc....?
I am a Podiatrist. In my Experience lamisil tends to work best. Depending on the severity of your fungus, you May see results using topical antifungals as well. Lasers can be effective in certain cases as well but they are not covered by insurance. I have also had some patients tell me that they have seen results with apple cider vinegar but I don’t really have any first hand knowledge. Find yourself a foot doctor/dermatologist.
Thanks!! so muchwas looking not to take pills and not go to a dr thought maybe I could try something myself. Mine is not so severe but both fingers and toes are affected. Is Lamisil over the counter? good for both toes and fingers? which topical antifungals do you recommend?
Lamisil is not over the counter. You need to be monitored for potential liver side effects. Are you sure it’s fungus?
Lamisil cream certainly comes in an OTC variety, you can find it on Amazon. As with many OTC products, the manufacturer might make higher-dosage versions of the same product, sometimes with non-OTC additives, which requires a prescription.
I thought white stuff under the nails is fungus?you have any over the counter recommendations?
What causes these funguses ? I used to think it’s an old person thing but a lot of young people have it.
Re removing fungus, look up soaking in colloidal silver. You can actually make your own with some silver, batteries, and water.
Which white stuff? Sometimes white marks on the nails indicate a calcium (I think) deficiency.P.s. No pics please
Sounds dangerous, aren't batteries full of toxins/acid?
