Hes talking about St Lucia guy complaining about the restaurant question, the answer is 100%, 100% of HIS clientele are tourists.

I misread his comment as talking about the OP.

Regarding Super, it's not 100% at all. And people asking about kosher restaurants on a tiny island is a bit of a head scratcher. If you couldn't find it online, it probably doesn't exist.

Only to hear that the Shachris info is also outdated.
Again, I have no complaints, The Rabbi doesn't owe me anything. But if he would yell at me for calling in, or complain about it, I have to say, it's more of a "you" problem.

I would echo what was said earlier that every shliach is different, different things will irk different ones, due to the circumstances, or even just personality. They are humans too (gasp

).
The common point is that it feels to them as though people don't use their common sense, which I think is something we all relate to as being annoying.
That being said, different shluchim deal with it in different ways. Some will politely answer the questions and move on, while others that are feeling more overwhelmed might not have the emotional energy to roll with it as much.
Chabad of venice has an autorespond email with ALL tourist information when anyone just sends them any email

That they are pushy for minyanim and tourist info?

Oh the horrors... I'd get where you are coming frum if they posted publicly about calls they get from local PD about arrests of frum travelers or something else actually embarrassing, not sure why this strikes you so badly.

I could think of a few reasons why, but would like to hear your reasons.
