If this is a pain point for shluchim, I don't see why HQ wouldn't want to help solve it. It would naturally fit in with the directory that shows already which services are offered.
R' Zalmanov said he doesn't want the FAQ on his site as he feels it would be a turn-off to his locals, but would love it on the Chabad.org directory.

If this is a pain point for shluchim,

Honestly, I think you'd be hard-pressed to find even a handful of Shluchim that would describe this as a "pain point". This whole thread is based on a single shliach sending a single tweet which was basically terribly expressed bemusement at the fact that people would think a place in the middle of nowhere would have a daily minyan.

I am close with many shluchim in places far more rural or "small towny" and frankly, this whole kerfuffle is a huge joke. If anything were to come from this, I would think better education to the frum traveler community about the role of Chabad and the best ways to ensure encounters are mutually beneficial would be far more important than minyan faqs on websites. I've long had in the back of my mind to make a kind of "visiting a Chabad House" handbook for frum travelers.

From the follow up to the Tweet, it seemed like it was a pain point to OP and not a one-off call. But he can certainly be an exception.
At any rate, type it up and I'd be happy to share.

Unless something changed in recent years I'm pretty sure @Dan knows how to reach the powers that be at the chabad.org dev team...

Not something I'm going to lobby for. I made the suggestion, if they want they can add it and I'd be happy to publicize it.

Yes, but contacting them through there will likely still work.

How about a visitor information page?
We primarily cater to local students, but here is some info for visitors to the area...

Yep, my main point was that the issue here is not that you need help figuring out who's in charge and how to reach them.

The problem some may have with that is it may give the impression that visiting is a "thing." Similar to a school posting times for minyanim. If you happen to join, many won't have an issue, but they aren't about to do anything that may give anyone the impression that the minyanim are open to the public.

I posted many comments in this thread calling R' Zalmanov a campus shliach. I was wrong; he is not. His community is a very small one in NW Indiana. Doesn't change much in terms of my opinions, but I just wanted to clear that up.

What would be the turn off bout them being open to the public (other than during COVID)

Lol, I thought that was the most ridiculous tweet of them all from him. I find it hard to believe you could find me a mezuman of Shluchim who would say having a little page on the site with visitor info would be in any way distracting from the site or ruin a "small-town feel".
