Lap inf on EY is such a nightmare. Trying to price out but reps are clueless because there's no published fare TLV-AMM-AUH-SYD. Anyone successfully been quoted lap infant price for this? Some reports I've seen are 10%, some 20%!

You saw reports on here of people that actually paid 10%? Not just quoted 10%

I vaguely recall seeing on FT that full fare business was 10% while discounted was 20%, although not sure about award flights.

I think I'm just going to do RJ on avios TLV-AMM x2 in J plus two infants (19800 avios I think), then AMM-AUH in Y & AUH-SYD in J using 45k AA x4 (no J available on RJ or EY AMM-AUH).

Don't call BA to add. Call AA. Or add at airport.

I called AA - they told me to go to the airport and do it there. can I rely on that?

I filed a complaint with the DOT as BA was not budging. they emailed me back 20mins later that it doesnt fall under one of the DOT rules but he'll reach out to BA on my behalf. An hour later I received a call from an English speaking person on behalf of BA stating that DOT had called them and is there anything they can do. Shes working on it now.

You're waisting your time. Theres nothing to do with BA. Just show up to the airport and add your kid there and pay the $17 in taxes. Super straightforward.

I may get some compensation. I did it already and they're working on it.

What is an infant in lap's baggage allowance on UA international, booked with AC miles. (Have to fly in a few months with a lot of luggage and trying to figure out the cheapest way to do so)

BA's policy is that an infant that turns 2 in the middle of a reservation gets a seat during the return at the lap infant fare (link)

Here's my question:
I'm in the midst of a (revenue) roundtrip from europe that my now-infant didn't take the first leg of. He turns two a week before the return. Can I add him at the infant rate for the return?

My AC itinerary said 100lb (45kg), but UA said 50lb

FTR EY has a nanny on the flight to help take care of the babies.
