can someone attach his child to his business reservation and  show up to his Lufthansa international flight and they would let him go on the plane with his baby even if his baby doesn't have an eticket number and is only attached to the reservation but not ticketed
? or they would make me buy an infant ticket by checkin? also is there any way to get united to waive the 10% airfare and just charge the taxes for the infant?  and would anyone here who has a baby just attach his child to his reservation but   show up without ticketing him?

In order:

No. Cannot "attach" a "baby." Can only "attach" an e-ticket, which requires a e-ticket.

Baby cannot board without an e-ticket.

No.

For those who I've seen written that are not comfortable putting a baby to sleep in a J seat alone while you yourself are sleeping, are you comfortable doing it in a bassinet?

Your daughter isn’t too big to comfortably sleep in a bassinet?

I hadn't looked at the size. Thanks, now I see it isn't that big. Anyone have experience putting pillows around the kid like Dan did in his TR and then also be comfortable enough to go to sleep while your kid is sleeping? I know Dan stayed awake, but that would not be ideal for an overnight flight.

@Dan if you had to your YVR trip again with Rafi, what would you do differently so you could sleep on the plane? Booked 2 seats in F + lap child and co-slept?

That being said, I’d get 3 seats between j and f if they open

What do you mean between J and F? Also, someone staying up only works if baby goes back to sleep at the hotel at 2am. Otherwise either 1 or both of the parents won't get good sleeps that night. A tough way to start a vacation.

That’s the price to pay for traveling with a child. If there open between j and f I’d split up. If the seat can’t accommodate a car seat consider CARES or something like that. I wouldn’t risk sleeping with kid. You could suffocate her.

I'd likely just keep us all in J even if 1 or 2 opened up in F. Problem with CARES is that if baby doesn't fall asleep in it, they won't remove it for the remainder of the flight. It's a risk because you might end up holding the baby the whole flight. However, I might still consider it to the alternative.

You can’t use your own cares and put it on as desired?

From their site it appears you have to use one of theirs.

Booking with SQ miles on UA metal US48 to Hawaii (or all within US48) is there any charge for lap infant?
If not, is best option to book award without infant and then add by calling UA? Or add to original itinerary with SQ?

If you add with UA it will be free. Not sure with SQ

Looking to buy a Business class ticket using UA for a Swiss biz class ticket from TLV to JFK. Does Swiss let children under 2 sit in Biz class? If so, what would they charge?

10% of published fare. Book with AC for 100 CAD if possible.
