This is if you want to just pay for a seat.

I called them up and the infant fare is 10% off the standard fare (not the wanna get away fare).

Not sure how many pounds, but i was able to check one when i flew in May.

Does UA charge for lap infant (economy/domestic)? Rather not wait for airport to avoid any last minute issues. Have both award ad paid tickets - if not free, which is best? Thanks!

Edit: forget it found it on UA website. Domestic lap infants are free.

Technically need to pay i believe. Though when using BA and/or flying on AA, you can add infant at airport. CMIIW.

When booking through Avios and adding infant online, it will charge you money. I guess if you are adding in the airport, you will be fine.

You can add at airport, but I would call to add to avoid problems.

Flying Domestic award on AA (+US) coach. bringing along Lap Child (prob without car seat- it's a daytime flight)
would a lounge agent be able to place me next to an unbooked seat, so kid can sit (not during takeoff/landing)?
would the same thing let me bring a car seat on?

would a US lounge agent be able to access my AA seats?

I was able to bring a car seat on when sitting in the bulkhead, even though there was no extra seat. They made me stow the car seat for takeoff and landing. If you do that, make sure you have bin space right away.
