Travel Bank
   If you book a ticket and cancel within 24 hours, you're entitled to a refund to original form of payment, so funds will return to your Travel Bank - with the same expiration as it had before.
   If you book a ticket and cancel after 24 hours, you get an Electronic Travel Certificate (ETC) in the name of the passenger. To be used by that passenger. with an expiration 2 years from the date it was created.
   Although if you cancel within 24 hours, it was reported that someone called and got an ETC instead of a Travel Bank refund.

 As we keep evolving the digital experience for our travelers, we’ve decided to discontinue the united.com gift registry program. Although you’ll no longer be able to create a new registry or add to your existing one, you can still book travel using the TravelBank balance linked to your current registry until your balance expires.

If you already have other ETCs. Can combine ETCs, but not TB with ETCs.
