HELP - Israeli Passport expires in 4 days

Hi guys,

I am an Israeli citizen (with a green card), and I have a flight tonight from NY to London (JFK), and my Passport is expiring in 4 days,
I went to the Israeli consulate in NY and they told me I have to wait 6 weeks,
Does anyone have any idea what possibilities I have?

Would appreciate any response,

I know that for US passports, you can get it within an hour or 2 if you go to the State Department in Manhattan (at least before COVID). I've done it. I think these were the people who helped me when I did it years ago: https://www.yelp.com/biz/e-z-passport-brooklyn

At least they'd probably know what the deal is, and you'll have clarity.
