When I checked no nothing happened. So I signed up in another window and then checked yes to link the account. It never upgraded the account to silver. Any suggestions?
Also how does one sign up for a oneworld account?

HOW DO I KNOW IF I AM SILVER OR NOT I GOT A RED CARD DOES IT MEAN SOMTHING ?

A little clarification that may explain why some people aren't seeing the "Silver" in their King Club logo........

In order to automatically receive Silver status, you must be opening a new King Club account from the promotion page (i.e., click "No" in response to "Are you a Kingclub member?" and fill out the new member form on the page that pops up.) If you set up a new account from the main website, and then click "Yes" in response to "Are you a Kingclub member?", then you will receive the 250 bonus points, but your account will not reflect Silver status.

yes it does not have brooklyn, far rockawar queens,etc.. just put in nj and then the zip 08701 it should work just fine

Or u can just click on New York from the drop down will work for Brooklyn etc.

For Brooklyn, I chose Brookings. I did write Brooklyn, NY into the address#2 line.

Either way, I got my Silver status

really weird; i signed up for myself and got silver, and i repeated the exact same thing for a friend that asked me to sign him up, and he got red! would anyone have an explanation?

i did actually add in his application my membership number as a friend refrence but i dont see why that would make a diff.)

I chose New York as the city for Brooklyn with a Brooklyn zipcode, I'm sure the mailman will know what to do

If I'm not mistaken don't you need them to mail you the silver status card in order for it to be effective? If that's so just getting the status doesn't help so I'm not sure what the posts that said they put in a random city and it still worked that they got silver meant.
