Which would make it very strange for them to get into Israeli politics.

Indeed. Which would put the current franchisee into problems.

This is reminiscent of what happened several years ago with Orange/Partner Communications. Even though Orange retracted whatever statement or action triggered it, the brand was tarnished. Partner decided to drop it and rebrand as their own brand, and IINM sued Orange for damages.

It would be nice to see if the Franchisee can sue (and hopefully win) serious damages from Ben & Jerry's. I really hope this doesn't stop here but actually puts a serious dent into their left-wing activism (though I am not holding my breath).

It would be nice to see a boycott B&J movement grow across America (let the Evangelicals lead it for all I care).

Though I would imagine that those smart left-wing Jews made sure that Unilever can't come after them for damages due to their political activism. Maybe corporations will be more careful about this nonsense in the future.
