1. As far as I know, nothing changed still has belz on some products.
2. Belz (not talking about the Chassidus c"v, but about the Israeli hechsher) not up to par period. Not even in the same planet as any of the ones you mentioned, let alone ballpark. (which I presume is why

FTR: The "Poland fiasco" I keep on referring to involved two so-called "mehadrin" hechsherim. A visit by an inspector from the Israeli rabbanut found the operation to be not up to par with any kashrus standards, let along "mehadrin" or CY.
