Not sure why people need to make things so complicated!! All @aygart wants to know is destinations that have ready made kosher food and at least one minyan of each of the 3 daily tfials!! No need for all  questions of, if this or that also counts!! Now people please feel free to add!!
give some love (likes) to a brother!

What I am looking for personally is thoughts to go with the family where we do not need to put any planning into food from before even with a wide range of ages. Anywhere that meets that will almost certainly have minyanim. But I am figuring that this would probably be a good resource to put together for the public in general.
As a resource for the public, it might be too time-consuming to keep it updated.  Maybe more useful to select a few, write a more detailed description of attractions in each location, and submit it to DDF Magazine.  If you flip though past issues of the magazine, you'll see that they often feature articles like this, "Kid-friendly Day Trips from Lakewood" and "10 Family Vacations for Nature Lovers" etc.

To be fair, I kept my OP very general for it to be a resource for others as well. To be such a resource the best way would be to describe what is available.

I don't think it will change so drastically for most places. If there is enough demand to support whatever level of infrastructure there is it is most likely to continue for the most part (excluding COVID)

It took me a minute  :)
In regards to that thread, I recently was talking to R Levi Krinsky in Manchester, NH and I mentioned this. He showed his boatload of recent emails and even I was shocked to see how ridiculous and outrageous these inquiries are.

  • Location: As always, silence is NOT an admission of agreement on DDF. It just means that people lack the stamina to keep on arguing with made up "facts", illogical arguments, deceiving statements, nasty and degrading comments, and fuzzy math. - @yelped

I don't think anyone truly gets it until they see it for themselves.

Travelers won't care about "most places", they'll care about that one place that they chose from your list, and will be disappointed if they get there and find that the one kosher restaurant has closed (happens too often) or that the minyan meets only when school is in session.

Not saying you shouldn't do it, and of course if you do compile it, I'll be sure to refer to it. :D .  I just think that it would take substantial time and effort to do it well and to maintain its accuracy.  Also, I suspect that most of those who ask "Where's a good place for a frum family vacation?" are less interested in an extensive list with dozens of possibilities, and would prefer a shorter list with a few good ideas.  But maybe not.  Worth a survey?

Seems like this should be a basic wiki with links to the respective destination threads. Ideas here, details elsewhere.
