air france expiring

it seems like amex transfers no longer extend flying blue miles. i just did a transfer, now shows this

11000 valid until June 30, 2023
20,800 valid until July 31, 2023

Interesting...Looks like you might be encountering the below rule (taken directly from Flying Blue website). How did you earn the June vs July miles?

july was from mileage transfer which as per t and c dont extend. however til recently i believe they were, may have been glitch in system...

Yeah I was not aware of that nuance either. But I only use AF sparingly and usually am only transferring in order to redeem immediately. Rather annoying how they separate the miles into separate buckets...reminds me of TYP's
