Using Flying Blue to Fly Copa

Is this new? Looking for a flight and FB brought up Copa flights at a pretty good rate with no YQ. Kinda strange when Copa is so tight with *A.

Anyways, can be a pretty good and unexpected use of FB.

I can find the flights on UA but not FB. why is that?

I was looking at a copa flight from PTY-IAD and they had Y at 14.5k per person with a low fee. Checked three times to make sure that it was for real. Transferred 29k citi points to book the flight and after putting in all my info i get a "technical error" and the flight is not longer available. ODdly it showed 4 seats available for that flight two days in a row and once I got that error message all the flights were gone. Seems strange and now im stuck with 29k FB miles but I guess worse things have happenned...
