Lol, I often eat before take off. After making my way through security, boarding, etc.that's when you finally sit down and have a minute to breathe. Never ever been asked not to, covid times or otherwise. Somehow I'm doubtful that after being kicked off one flight already, they ignored FA instructions on the next one.
Same here. I'll often board, stow my belongings, buckle up, settle in and pull my foil
. Never knew it was even a gray area offense (tray table stowed of course)
In any case, I don't think this was the real issue. Neither was the seat change. Even if we should accept that either of those are out of line, neither is grave enough to warrant ejection.
It runs much deeper than the surface.
In all likelihood, it was the wounded ego of one KLM agent, and the triumph challenge/contest that followed.
What was "HE" doing on that Delta flight that morning? Is he the sole security agent at Schiphol?
There are many other indicators that the seeds for this were planted still on their outbound encounter with this agent at AMS over 2 weeks ago.
