DeSantis is enjoying a great approval rating in Florida. Talk to people in Florida. They are all happy about his policies. There is a reason why people are moving from all over to Florida. They do it because they like his policies.
Its pathetic how you and your friends in the media are talking about how FL is leading the numbers in Covid-19. It's because in NY and NJ etc there is no one to kill anymore... We had our surges quite a few times already way before Florida. That's why it's important to look on the overall numbers not just what's happening now.

To you it sounds great to call DeSantis a killer while to others he is the only guy ready to protect our constitution and freedoms!!

Its my honest opinion that all these shutdowns don't work anyway (I'm from these stupid people who don't believe in science but rather in facts) check NY for example... We had the toughest restrictions and it didn't help. I know many people who were in extreme close contact with covid positive patients for months and never cought the virus and all of the sudden they get it without knowing that they were exposed.... Obviously the most important thing is to get vaccinated and obviously when you can social distance etc then go for it but to force people to give up their freedoms for something that has been proven over and over not to work? For that my friend you gotta live in a blue state.

For now the data is showing that people are rather moving to the red states!

The two biggest things that work are vaccine mandates and masks. He is against both with using the political excuse of freedom. The courts over and over have came down on the side of mandates so far so his excuse is just a smokescreen.

As far as his other policies I don't care one way or the other.

I personally have mixed feelings about the vaccine mandates and am not arguing against them. There is plenty of precedent for such mandates and the vast majority of people claiming"religious" exemption is bogus. If you want to keep religious exemptions for where they are really needed then don't use it for every personal preference.

That whether or not it is unconstitutional has nothing to do with whether or not it is a freedom that is right to protect. I personally have mixed feelings about it but can understand why people feel it should be protected

Thanks, now I understand. If SCOTUS rules mandates are ok then isn't he trying to protect a freedom you don't have under the constitution?
