Gonna say this again and again, people act as if the lockdowns and mask mandates are no lose ways to save lives. They are costly. There's a risk assessment to be done. A better analogy would be driving kids at all, not car seats.
Not lockdowns but masks are pretty much a no lose situation especially for adults.
Now if they are vaccinated, why should they be forced to suffer with such minimal gain, if any?
There were multiple cases where the death panel decided a child would be better off dead than alive including Alta Fixler; a hasidic child in England whose case is currently in the court system. This will be what happens in the US if we allow government the power to override parents and their doctors.
