I'm not sure if you're aware (I'd need to search DDF to see if you sent me condolences) that I am in the year of mourning after the passing of a parent. It is customary that for 11 months a mourner leads prayer services (and even when not, like on Shabbos or days like today and tomorrow - a celebration of new month, Kaddish is still recited by the mourners).

You've been to 770, but not when it was fully crowded. I've had people who stay in the back for services mention to me that they appreciate when I lead services or recite Kaddish in the front, as they can hear it loud and clear.

Your sympathies are kindly appreciated.

My loud voice might only come out when I am in a (somewhat) noisy environment, as background noise makes it hard for me to hear even myself, so my volume just automatically rises. Or it might just be that raising my volume to be heard doesn't take effort, so I just don't see it as yelling. It's not only volume, but how voice projects, I think my voice tends to project far and clear.

As a hearing impaired person, if I don't actively listen nothing gets through.... unless you yell. Gives me an unfair advantage in any argument and unfairly forces the other party to yell.

I listen to Barstools Pardon my take on the way to work so I can be happy and have an enjoyable day.
On the day home I listen to Ben Shapiro so I can be angry at the world. If I well at my wife it's on him.

I was in Monsey in a shull some bored soul pulled the fire alarm, the shut it but the fire department came down,
The fireman comes out yelling "what's going on over here" and those that interacted started getting on edge what ever they said he yelled back, till at some point he apologized about his loudness he explained that he had some hearing issues and therefore he is naturally louder than usual
