I highly doubt there are more than a handful of American citizens in Afghanistan who want to leave. 15k people have been evacuated in the last 24h alone.

Americans have been urged to leave in the strongest terms for months if not years. There is no reason we should be risking lives and spending taxpayer $ to fly them around now.
