No. He dragged them out with force kicking and screaming, and left the towns and villages just outside the Gaza strip to suffer the consequences of the withdrawal (and no proper compensation for the "settlers" for their lost homes and assets).

I'm just disgusted by how bad Biden has bungled the disengagement and by those excusing him by saying it was inevitable when it was clearly not.

This was Biden's call and he gets the blame.

Now for it makes no difference on how he pulled out and the results would have been the same.
Taliban is in power either way. They are going to to execute and carry on their rule by terror either way. In a year, 2 or any amount it will not have mattered either way. When they execute women, gays and other they disagree with we will not hear a peep. So if you want to be disgusted by the current optics then so be it. Just don't fool yourself this timing of the pull out will matter one bit.

They are going to execute people they don't like, and that's on them.
There are people being executed *because they helped us*, people that we in principle are offering visas to. In an orderly drawdown (days /weeks instead of hours) they would have made it out.
From a practical "America first" perspective, when we abandon *those* afghans, it will make it exponentially harder to get cooperation anywhere else

What joke? Is pointing out that some people voted for Biden because they were upset about Trump's tweets and this disaster is a result of that choice a joke?
