Lol, that guy was very incompetent. Brave, but incompetent. Either way, there's tons of video evidence showing the incompetence and corruption of the ANA and ANP. Check out This Is What Winning Looks Like. Bottom line, they mostly just ceded the country to the Taliban without a fight. There was so little actual fighting.

Agreed. The point Abu Saleh is making is that it's not that the Afghani fighters feared a battle, they were brave fighters. What happened was that the commanders higher up decided to jump ship and surrender without conditions, so the fighters didn't even have the option to fight.

Meh. I agree command the most was problematic, but 1 anecdote of a brand afghan fighter may not be indicative of much.
