T-Mobile Data Breach Affecting ~50 Million People

"T-Mobile says about 7.8 million of its current postpaid customer accounts' information and roughly 40 million records of former or prospective customers who had previously applied for credit with the company were involved in a recent data breach."

Why should all postpaid customers change their pins if no postpaid phone numbers or pins were compromised?

Two years of credit monitoring is a joke, as everyone else is saying this isn’t the first time for T-mobile and there have to be real penalties in place for things to change.

If they know more and aren’t disclosing it (and instead saying the information wasn’t compromised) that would only make things worse.
