I havent payed my first statement yet and I already received the points and booked a flight (as I mentioned above).
I checked my BA account and my statement and it seems the points posted a day after my statement closed. Might be a case of YMMV, not sure.

you cant go anywhere. i got an email which linked me to a pre filled app with my name and address. maybe call them and see if you can get one

Yes the link works.
Yes it's a decent deal, it's just very deceptive and not as good as you'd think due to the fuel surcharges and the inability to use it on AA for transatlantic travel.

Yeah you are right its not close to as good as 100k AA, but still pretty decent deal. I thought this ended in december.

If you are planning on going to south america or the far east, this is a killer deal as fuel charges/taxes are not too crazy and mileage is only 40,000/50,000

I read somewhere that according to the terms of this offer you have to spend $2000 after your first purchase to receive the bonus 50000 miles, meaning that if your first purchase was $2000 and you didn't spend another $2000 you are not eligible. Does anyone know if this is true?
