I signed up for this card as i use Cathay a lot.

I definitely put down my BA number when i signed up, but for whatever reason the application was missing the number.

So I bought $2000 of coins from the mint and waited, but nothing happened.

I called CS and it did take a while for them to see that my BA number was missing, and also they had to talk to Chase (I don't know why).

I get the 100,000 miles on my next statement.

THEN, this is the good part, I get another 100,000 miles!!

I am guessing since they messed up with the mileage number, they credited me twice by mistake.

i had the same thing. (only made 50K on it)

I'm guessing you got 102,500 x2

seems like basically when you call to check it- they manually put it through, then at end of the month it automatically credits the same amount...
