I got this letter as well over the weekend. It seems they're removing the option of 5 debit card purchases to waive the fee. I had this option with my account.

Did you also just get converted to Total Checking?

Ribbis Issues

Actually one of the banks that issues competitive lines of credit secured by Whole Life recently announced that they agreed to be acquired by a Credit Union. I alerted my contact at that bank that once they become a credit union I will no longer be telling clients about them unless they put a PROPER Heter Iska in place. He sounded eager to get it done. I wonder how it would unfold.
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!
