Looking for recommendations for a vacuum that will last me for a good few years $100- $170 range.

Costco. If it doesn’t last it goes right back.

I have had the few wireless Dyson.   They start dying very quickly.  I went back to wired.  A bit less convenient but a whole lot stronger

Costco just took it back twice.  But that's not the point. I wanted something strong

They have a very favorable return policy that many abuse. I don't. But I will return if there is a valid reason. Even a few years later

Just moved back from Israel    and where i grew up did not have Costco, so unfamiliar.
