Whenever I need something like that I use a local shop. Are you printing multiple copies that the price difference is worth your time invested in shopping for this?

I used Staples, but I can't vouch for their prices. I needed a small job so I didn't shop around for prices. They were easy to deal with, and they customized if for me.

At one point I was printing some large files and found that unless you are doing very large quantities the shipping ends up costing more than you save by doing it locally.

Lakewood (Ocean County?) Library charges $0.20/page for color; Lakewood doesn't do double sided though.

If they’re looking to beat $15/pop, they likely aren’t looking for “service and value” beyond some minimal lowest-common-denominator threshold.

If they’re looking to beat $15/pop, they likely aren’t looking for “service and value” beyond some minimal lowest-common-denominator threshold.

Or maybe someone did read the OP and is attempting to help see things in a different perspective. First by pointing out that the time and energy spent on looking for the cheapest price might be worth more than the potential savings, and then by adding another perspective of actually appreciating the value of a possibly higher price.

One point to add is that print jobs can be error prone. I had a large print job of 30 copies of 300 pages that was worth shipping and a whole bunch of pages came blank and I needed to do them locally. When it is local, the print shop is able to resolve it much more easily.
