Canceling/refunding Uber eats, grubhub

My Uber eats order arrived almost 2 hours later was totally not hungry anymore. if I ask for a refund who will take the loss? Don’t want yid to loose?

Once  the delivery exceeds the latest time they said you can cancel for free. Not sure what happens with the food/money.

Uber Eats is a PITA, once had that the driver showed up without my order, he wanted to give me someone elses order and I couldn't talk to him since he didn't understand the word of English. I told him he could leave and contacted support immediately, but there was no one to talk to. after hours and hours of trying I finally got a refund but overall I was talking to a wall.

I'd assume it goes based off who's fault it is.

Usually when you cancel the restaurant gets paid, and you get a refund it's covered by Uber.

You got a refund from a wall? Maybe it was an ATM.

This is a real problem with ridesharing and delivery, when the service provider’s English is so poor that they can’t even hack basic conversation, let alone dealing with issues.
