Looks like Sukkas this year will be hot and humid, can anyone recommend good portable AC?
I bought a GE 10K BTU for $390, I hope it works, going to be hot in Brooklyn.
The highest showing 74, nu nu.
And 74 for some people is very hot and after a hot plate of soup……
Any recommendations on how to attach the vent on sukka panels?
did you use it already?
Might make sense to run it from on top - thru the schach (cold air sinks etc) and just let it hang
Won't work with an awning and looks horrible.
For your setup, why not just use a window unit? or if the window's not sturdy enough use the window-hose-board-thingy for a portable?
Anywhere around Lakewood to buy one before YT?
There was a discussion about adding an air conditioner to a sukkah somewhere else this year, now that my idea worked, Quote from: davidmal on August 31, 2017, 11:23:30 AMPost pictures of your Sukkah's to help give ideas to other DDF Members I'll :I put a piece of 1 x 2 in the front to prevent it from slipping forward:And a vertical piece of 2 x 4 for support underneath and one on top (horizontal) to lean onThen, I made a removable mini-panel for cooler years.
