I’ve noticed a new business model, with grocery delivery apps that offer delivery with no fees or minimums within 15-20 minutes after ordering. They have small local warehouses that deliver within a mile or diameter from every such location.
So far I’ve found 1520, JOKR, and FridgeNoMore, the former two mostly serve only Manhattan, but FridgeNoMore serves parts of Brooklyn and has many Kosher products (Hashgacha levels vary). Prices are full retail, but no fees or surcharges and no minimums. I chatted with a rep and asked about filtering by Kosher status and was told that my inquiry would be forwarded to their Dev team. I also saw a recent offer on their Facebook page for 50% off your first order using code FNMFB but it didn’t specify any min or max for the offer.
Anyone ever tried one of these services?
