Thanks, not showing the bonus.
Only on DDF does 24/6 mean 24/5/half/half

I'm trying to figure out what's the best credit card for me to get. I have a large purchase next month so would love to get a SUB. I currently have Saphire Preferred, united, freedom and freedom unlimited and citi double cash. Which cc SUB would give me the best bang for my buck? I usually use points for air travel but am open to a hotel card as well.

I assume you mean SUB but I would go for one of the mega plat offers if you've never had one

aside from freezing all 3 credit bureaus, is there anything else i should do to do if someone has tried (and failed ) to apply for 3 CC under my name? 1 was a citi card, 1 discover card and another Boa card.
i tried getting information of where the CC would have gotten shipped to if the application was approved but they told me they couldn't give me any info.

I think freezing won't stop the old apps, only keep a new app from being approved.
Keep monitoring your credit report for any newly opened cards.  (And confirm you recognize all the existing cards.)
My favorite cause: cssy.org

How does that process look?
I once mistakenly applied for a CC (Chase) with the wrong social security #. (One number off).
I then called to rectify that, and it wasn't a fun process.
They sent me letters that I wasn't approved.
Then they wanted me to fax my social security card (if I remember correctly) and my licence. Then they sent me another email or letter that they wanted me to fax it again, which I did... Not to mention the hours of phone calls... (Most of which were a complete waste of time,)

But BH after that they sent me the card. (Without letting me know before hand, it just came in the mail...)

Why do you think it's the same process if someone has frozen their credit?

You unfreeze for a sec and let the lender in. It’s easier if it’s locked not frozen to unlock for a sec and apply. It has to temporarily opened either way.
