They send you a link to a PDF that I was able to show on my phone at baggage check EX-USA and then again to board the flight.

Yes,  I used tests with a printed expiration of September 2021 in late November without any issues. You can use them until exactly 3 months after the printed expiration.

Looking now to buy 2 or 3 tests expiring in February or later. Or if someone is interested in splitting a pack of 6 from eMed please PM.

Three months is the official extension but unofficially they still work for me much longer. I just tested tests that expired last March and April test and they work fine.

How can you be sure they’re giving you accurate results (in the moment, before you get PCR confirmation)?

I tested them with control swabs.

You can't use the proctored version past the extended expiration. So mine expired in early December, tried using a few days thereafter and the proctor said I need to order new ones and ended the session.

You can (and I did) still use it for self testing at home but these are more expensive than the regular non proctored at home ones. However obviously better than just throwing them out.
