If you need the money short term, don't invest it. Find a high yield savings account

If you want any return now, don't do a high yield savings account, bec the rate is low. Don't invest something you don't want to lose. The best option is probably to save a percentage of the down payment that's enough to put down in case the invested part goes down. The rest invest in ETFs or similar. So for example, if you have 20% now, save half and invest the other half
Jury Duty: Nothing to do there but chill and write a TR. Kinda like the beach but missing the view and ocean breeze.

Is that only for businesses? 1.1 is actually really good in today's market.

The standard advice is not to invest if you're buying in the short term, but there are definitely situations where it makes sense to invest, at least part of it

Officially it's a business checking account but they are very chilled on what's considered a business in my experience.
Everything is only online and they are still a new company so there are definitely still some technical issues they are working on and customer service wasnt too great so far but otherwise the interest is still coming in

So basically it's good for the short term :)

Currently have several accounts (one per SS) at ETFCU.
Only on DDF does 24/6 mean 24/5/half/half

Apple bank in NY has 3% for anyone 8-17 I believe up to 10K.

You can keep the account until your 18 and then you have to close it.

Use to be a passbook now it’s a debit card.

If you have young kids…
