Walmart+ Deal or Scam?

I recently signed up to Walmart Plus. I am still within my first free month, but on the first time I ordered there were no delivery dates available within 6 days, and now (friday), placing my second order, I see the next available delivery date is next Thursday. (This time I see that for a $10 fee, they will deliver today, on my first order even that option was not available)

1. Is this only my experience?
2. Am I doing something wrong?
3. And is there a workaround?

Otherwise, it seems like a complete scam.

Lately I’m having similar issues with Amazon prime. Some items which in the past were delivered next day can take now 4-5 days

Interesting. This week I had my first Same Day delivery from Amazon! And I ordered mid-morning.

I ordered at 4:30pm and got it at 8pm. Amazon Prime is fantastic in CLE.

It’s definitely a scam, otherwise why would amex add it as a new platinum benefit? They only add useless benefits!

Its useful for getting free shipping no minimum on walmart.com
That doesn't usually take long to ship either and is good for
 Basic pantry/ household staples which can often be a little overpriced on amazon
And for returns u can schedule a no cost FedEx pickup from the website

After you place an order, you can add to your order till a few hours before they shop, so place an order today for next week delivery, and then all week you can add to your order.

But I consistently only see available delivery times today for $10, or a week out. Something is fishy.

Same here! It only allows the choice of paying $10 for express or no available slots!

I read online that W+ releases slots on the hour. Tried it today, and at 10:02, I snagged a slot for next Wednesday.  Shhhh....

+1 we use it a lot and it seems same as store prices, on most things a couple days wait is fine.

The way they pack here, this could ultimately be a huge revenue stream for Walmart.
