olympus makes a lot of reccorders,

I have a mp3 file which i would like to put on my rca vr5320r, as all the files on their are currently VOC files.
An mp3 file would not read, so either i convert the file via an online program like cloudconvert.com and tranfer the file to another format, but there's no voc file so i read up a bit and bumped into this question and answer which im not so sure im understanding what this is saying,a liitle help to what this is telling me to do would be great thanks.

Why can't I transfer WAV files from my PC to the folders in the RCA VR5320 voice recorder?   
RCA WAV files use Audio Format "CCITT A-LAW"
PC WAV files use Audio Format "PCM"
Audio file types - PDF File

If you can find a free online converter you can convert the PC WAV CCITT A-LAW file to a RCA PCM WAV File.

We cannot recommend a converter and strongly suggest making a backup of your original files before you attempt to use any free converter.

I had a Sony one years ago that was great. Think it was ICD-PX720. Maybe there's a newer version out there. The only thing I didn't like was that you needed their software to transfer the files, but I think they fixed that in the next model.

I've had a number of recorders over the years and I liked Olympus models the best. But haven't used a Sony one in a decade, so things may have changed since.

   As well batteries or rechargeable?

I've had a number of recorders over the years and I liked Olympus models the best. But haven't used a Sony one in a decade, so things may have changed since.

  The few Olympus recorders that I looked at all needed batteries, I rather have one that you can recharge with a wire.

 Spent 45 minutes looking for one and it seems that the ux570 was slim, clear and rechargeable.

 As well was able to get it by tomorrow as I have someone who's going to be able to bring it to Israel.
 So thanks though for the responses.

Don't know which are thick/thin... it was a while ago but I think it took batteries (AA or AAA) which I used rechargable.

I hear. I personally think it's more convenient when you have a rechargeable recorder that you can easily plug in to charge.
