There is already a DansDeals app, but it only works for flip phones.

It's an Android app (APK) so I do not believe it "ONLY WORKS FOR FLIP PHONES."

(As they note, it's just a wrapper around the website, and has no special functionality.)

Just gave it some thought, not a bad idea to create an app. It’s more direct to the audience - no need to wade through Telegram, WhatsApp, twitter to see deals, push notifications will let you know of a deal right when it’s posted.

It’s also a very convenient option for a kosher audience.

Also a psychological aspect to it IMO. People will feel more connected to Dansdeals if they have the app, sort of like a membership program…

I think part of the question was if apple would consider push notifications a big enough advantage over the site.
