Why is it a waste if it prevents spread? What would you say about other medical testing/screening and how does this differ?

Some of the test requirements are illogical, a waste of money and effort. Why does TLV require a PCR to fly out of the country? Most countries only have entry requirements.

Just take action and get into the business. Once the money starts pouring in you won't be bothered that much. This isn't masks and sanitizers, you can still make big money.

True, but the FDA isn’t cancelling EUAs for COVID-only ones. Rightfully so, there’s so much testing going on that any single PCR assay won’t do, and the pandemic calls for it. Granted, at this point the testing bottleneck is thermal cycler capacity at CLIA certified-labs. My PCR got sent on Saturday night to Sherman Abrams in Brooklyn, they’re a pretty big lab, and I only got my results tonight (96 hours+ after testing!!)
