Double dip in January – February 2022
Eligible qualifying activity in January and February of 2022 will count toward earning both 2022 and 2023 status – giving you an extra 2 months to earn status for both years.

pretty sure this works nicely for me, I'm a big AA CC spender (citi exec). should be platinum pro in no time.

Why were you putting large amounts of spend on AA Citi exec? And what categories were those purchases in? If you're doing large amounts of grocery store MS then MileUp is a no-brainer card to prioritize over Exec. card.

In case anyone else is wondering why Loyalty Points aren't showing up yet:

I don't do MS.
for grocery stores I use Amex every day preferred and citi freedom
Most of my spend is business related and not in any preferred categories. It's spread across several cards, where the points are helpful to me, such as AA points.

What is the quickest way to get AA executive platinum?  I have AA cards, no elite status with any other airline- is there an easy way to get hyatt gloablist and move that over?  any help would be appreciated. TIA

Spend 200K on a Citi AA card

I think once your platinum pro u can give up the executive card and go with a cheaper version card as ull get lounge access from being platinum.
Meaning, close the card?

Any data points as to how they count eShopping and SimplyMiles towards loyalty points? Total earned or 1 point per dollar?

ETA: If I'm reading it correctly, it seems like the official rule is you get the full amount earned per dollar of spend that's considered base, but not any bonuses such as a lump sum, etc.

Do jetblue basic economy segments count as one of the 30 segments needed for AA to choose the gifts? What about B6 awards?

I highly doubt B6 awards would count. Paid B6 flights is a good question though, I thought they'd answer it on this page but I'm not seeing it unfortunately: https://www.aa.com/i18n/aadvantage-program/elite-status/elite-choice-rewards.jsp

  • Location: The value of a forum such as this one is not in that one can post a question and receive an answer, but in that the question has most likely been asked before, and the answer is available to him that will but only use the search function.
  • Programs: 1. Search on google. 2. Search in the right board of DDF with a general word or two. 3. Read the wiki. 4. Read the thread. 5. Ask away.

Those loyalty points still count towards elite qualification, they just won't be visible in your AA account till March.
