This is a tutorial how to successfully make a phone call on skype and streaming the voice to a bluetooth on a Samsung Epic 4g Touch.
It is a bit tedious but hey how else can you get unlimited US & Canada calling streamed to your bluetooth for $2.99/month?
Step 1: Go to
http://www.skype.com/intl/en/prices/pay-monthly/ and purchase the Unlimited US & Canada $2.99/month
Step 2: Go to Android Market and download BTmono
Step 3: Set the preferences on BTmono to 'Auto on at App start' but do not turn BTmono on yet
Step 4: Connect your Bluetooth to your phone.
Step 5: Sign into Skype.
Step 6: Dial the number and wait for the other party to pick up.
Step 7: As soon as the other party picks up hit the speaker button so you can hear them and press the home key.
Step 8: Go to your apps and select BTmono.
You should be hearing the other party clearly through your bluetooth now!!
To make another call from skype you will need to wait again for the other party to pickup then go back to BTmono and click off then on again. The reason for waiting for the other party to pickup is b/c if you leave skype before then your call will not connect. Another thing. When you turn BTmono to off and you want to make a normal phone call from your phone you will need to hit the green line bluetooth button (in the 'in call' menu) to off then on. No idea why but otherwise your bluetooth wont stream.
Enjoy!
